I got to know about this college from an education agent and after that did a bit of research. I applied for it with no application fee. I chose this college because I like the location and tuition is fairly reasonable. my undergraduate background is the law which is kind of related to what I am studying right now. I was asked for a bridging course anyway.
Placement
My course is actually including two sessions of placement for us, which is 500 hrs each. We have to complete it to graduate. I just started my first placement which is going well now and I do know that they kind of having job-related workshops on-campus all the time.
Accommodation
I rent a room in a shared house, which I found is cheaper than a student hostel. However, the rent is still not easy to cover especially in my area, living cost is just high. That's also why I have to work part-time to cover my expenses.
Exams
I took IELTS for entering this program, which asked for an overall 6.5 with each section no less than 6. I provided my undergraduate credits as well. after that, I was asked to take a bridging course as they stated I haven't had any subject related study before. I ended up writing a letter to the college indicating that I can skip the pre-course.
Fees
The tuition fee is paid each semester, which is not cheap for international students. as far as I know, it is 3 times the fee of local students. I know some scholarships can support international students with financial struggles at some points, however, I just feel I'm not qualified to apply.
