It was my second choice my first being Uni Adelaide. I'm glad I went to Flinders University however because I find they have a great community and everyone is very supportive and friendly.
Course Curriculum
I believe that the course curriculum within my degree is honestly a bit unorganized. This could be due to the fact that there are a lot of different fields within this degree that I have to study. Confusing
Faculty
I believe that Flinders University has come a long way and improved the campus and it's faculties a lot since I first became a student at the University.
Placement
Within my degree, there aren't many placements and job interviews. I believe if there were more placements within the degree it would be much more structured and a lot more motivating for the students.
Accommodation
I don't think that there is enough campus accommodation as I have had to move back home with my Dad as there isn't enough affordable accommodation within the area. I think there should be more share houses or units.
Exams
The exams I undertook to enter into this degree was the STAT test. That is available to students in SA.
Events
Flinders University is very active in celebrating events from a lot of different cultures and backgrounds. I find that they are also a very LGBTQI friendly campus. There is always something being celebrated on the campus.
Fees
The student administration - the website in which you pay for your student and fees and observe your debt is very outdated. I often don't pay my fees in time just because I find that website so confusing.
Scholarship
No, I haven't, however, they do offer a loan every semester but the process for the application is very rigorous.
Examination Structure
It depends on the topics you have enrolled in for the semester. I find that a lot of the topics that I have enrolled in have a very fair exam structure and the University is often lenient of any medical issues you may have.
