I had the course I wanted and was easily accessible. I enjoyed the general atmosphere of the campus and the facilities were good. There was also a broad range of clubs and societies that interested me.
Course Curriculum
I believe that it is outdated and needs to be rethought I also believe that a wider variety of classes need to be on offer for those that do not wish to undertake the standard subjects. The curriculum does not give students an opportunity to explore their capabilities and creativity
Exams
As I reside in Queensland we undertook QCS as our exams. I did not participate in Andy additional exams
Internship
I have not yet looked into these opportunities, however, I do believe that in my final years of study we are given the opportunity to do a placement/internship at an institution in order to practice our profession before finishing our course.
Fees
The fees are government paid when you apply for HECS help loans which I believe is beneficial as it allowed people from all walks of life to gain a degree to improve their employability
Examination Structure
As I am only in my first year I have not yet experienced exams however from what I've seen there is great support from lots of different contacts they have peer tutoring as well as other such facilities in order for a student to prepare for examinations.
Faculty
Whilst I am only in my first year I believe that these faculties are great as they allow us to crossover with other courses within our faculties and provide great support for all students and staff.
