It places emphasis on the social determinants of health, equipping students to address inequalities for the most vulnerable populations in Australia and across the world.
- Upon completion, students have the option to progress their career in Public Health or continue on the Master of Public Health.
- This graduate diploma will equip students with the knowledge and skills to address public health challenges. students will gain an understanding of current global and environmental health issues, health policy, systems, and economics, along with social, behavioural and cultural determinants of health.
- The course develops skills such as planning, implementation and evaluation of public health programs, health promotion and disease prevention strategies, advocacy, statistics and epidemiology and analytical and communication skills.
