- This newly-designed and flexible course is delivered in partnership with Australian and international industry, at a time of multi-billion-dollar spending on submarines and surface ships in South Australia, and at the University of Adelaide, Australia's leading university in defense.
- The Master of Marine Engineering is co-designed with local and global industry partners, ensuring graduates are job-ready with highly sought-after knowledge and practical skills.
- The variety of specialized coursework electives and study options allow students to follow their professional interests and meet their individual career goals while meeting industry-defined objectives.
- Industry-sponsored students are also able to undertake workplace projects to enhance their practical experience.
- The core courses of the marine engineering program, Submarine Design and Systems Engineering, will be delivered intensively (one to two weeks), allowing students to complete these core courses in six months. Marine engineering programs are structured so students can complete the Master's degree in steps with a Graduate Certificate in Marine Engineering available after six months and a Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering available after 12 months, of full-time study.
