- Students will be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning medical science - anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, genes and disease, law and ethics, microbiology, physiology, and epidemiology.
- Students will also undertake a course in "Human Skills in Medicine" which provides students with knowledge and skills in communication and interaction with patients.
