Master of Business in Applied Finance is a 2-year program offered on a full-time basis.
This is a 2-year program that can be completed in 1.5 years if students have a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
This course is designed to extend real-world finance knowledge and skills.
Students will be introduced to contemporary issues concerning the operation of capital markets and the interaction between these markets and other economic units such as businesses, households, financial institutions and governments.
Students will develop relevant analytical skills along with an understanding of the economic factors influencing financial markets.
The course also extends the knowledge if students are a graduate from a professional association such as the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), and may assist with preparation for the Chartered Financial Analysts program.
The learning outcomes of the course have been refreshed to provide students with a more engaging and real-world learning experience.

A completed recognised bachelor degree in business or related field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Master of Business - 2 year program

A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Indian Student Eligibility:

Bachelor or higher degree from a recognised Indian institution completed within five years of starting at QUT, and 65% in the High School English Core subject awarded by CISCE or CBSE.
Applicant must have score card of any one of IELTS, TOEFL or PTE to fullfill language test requirement.
