The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree is an internationally-recognized advanced research qualification. Each Ph.D candidate undertakes a substantial piece of independent and sustained research on an original topic under academic supervision and leads to the submission of a thesis for examination. The research is expected to make a significantly new and innovative contribution to the discipline.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- IELTS (Academic): overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.
- TOEFL Paper-based: overall score of 550 with 5 or better in TWE (Test of Written English).
- TOEFL Internet-based (iBT): overall score of 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing.
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50.
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component.
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component.
