Important Dates
The application deadline for Semester 1 (February to June) is 30 November to begin the study.
This course will provide students with a thorough understanding of the theory, design and programming techniques students will need to produce all kinds of software including games. Achieve this by helping students explore an intensive programme of study including:
- games theory,
- design and programming;
- advanced graphics techniques including virtual environments;
- artificial intelligence techniques;
- simulations;
- multiplayer and internet games programming, and
- games specific software tools.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Distinction average subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) of the School.
