The application deadline for Semester 1 (February to June) is 30 November to begin the study.
- Accounting is essential to every industry from favourite products and platforms favorite sports teams and causes. This degree will give the professional and creative skills students need to shape business interactions in a creative, well-informed and ethical way.
- Students will learn to identify business opportunities, analyze problems and put solutions in place. Students will explore how to make decisions related to buying and selling shares, lending or borrowing money, and providing goods for cash or on credit.
- Students also learn to interpret accounting standards, auditing standards and the Australian taxation act, as students gain new skills in financial statement analysis, forecasting and budgeting, negotiation, ethical decision-making and problem-solving.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
For admission into Murdoch, students must be able to provide evidence of competency in the English language. This is usually achieved through one of the following:
- A scaled score of 50% or more in ATAR English, English Literature or English as a Second Language (or interstate equivalent).
- Successful completion of a University enabling course (e.g., OnTrack, FlexiTrack).
- A score of 140 or more in the Written English component of the STAT test
- Successful completion of either a Diploma (AQF Level 5 or higher) OR two University-level units (AQF Level 7 or higher).
