Important Dates
The application deadline for Semester 1 (February to June) is 30 November to begin the study.
- If students have a degree in science or a relevant bachelor's degree, this course will give the skills students need to help in criminal investigations. Alternatively, if students are already a Police or Forensic professional, students will be able to upskill or attain a university qualification in the field.
- Learn to apply real forensic techniques through experiencing multiple crime scene rooms on and off-campus. The crime scenes are equipped for different crime scenarios and bloodstain pattern interpretation.
- Get valuable field experience at Murdoch University Whitby Falls Farm, where students will process a simulated large-scale homicide and a clandestine grave incident for evidence.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Evidence of studies at university level (AQF Level 7) in biology or biochemistry or chemistry. Applicants who can show equivalent knowledge through vocational training and/or experience will be considered.
