In this program, the curriculum is taught by former police officers with extensive investigative experience.
Students will gain practical, in-field experience via volunteer opportunities with local service agencies.
They will get hands-on experiential learning that takes place in the Justice Studies Simulation Lab.
Students who successfully complete the first year and the First Aid course are eligible to write the Ontario Security Guard licensing exam.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent degree including the following required course(s):
- English – any Grade 12 (C) or (U), or equivalent.
Students with the knowledge of Photography, audio/video production, drama, multimedia, art, creative writing, mathematics are eligible to apply.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
