I chose this college because of its location, as well as the program choice. My school is located very close to me and also offers one of the best massage therapy programs in the entire city. They also have the option to go part time which I found to be very helpful.
Course Curriculum
I think they try and make the students take on too much sometimes. Between clinics and outreaches and a 7 to 9 class course load, there's not a lot of rest time. The classes themselves are very good though, super in depth and you learn everything you need to.
Fees
The fee structure is pretty basic. You pay for your classes, your clinics, your outreaches, and your textbooks. There are also some web programs that need to be paid for.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is pretty well organized. We usually have written exams and practical hands-on exams. The only thing I don't like about the practical exams is that they're very nerve-wracking in the sense that in the real world, you wouldn't have 2 people looking over your shoulder and taking notes. It can make it very difficult.
Faculty
I think the faculty at the college are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone who teaches has worked in the profession for a substantial period of time so they're able to give you an outlook on what life will look like after graduation.
