The city of Kingston where the university is located is very beautiful. And I have talked to some people from that university and one of the major thing everyone mentioned was that the teachers are very passionate. And that is the one thing that matters to me the most about any institute.

Course Curriculum

10

Ive only been in Queens for 1 semester online. But what Ive seen and heard from beforr and other upper year student is that there is a very nice sense of community at queen's. Everyone helps everyonr out. And what ive seen from the 4 profs and several TA's that I have had is that they are all very passionate about their respective courses and very eager to help whoever reaches out.

Exams

I transfered from another university as a first year. So they looked into my hugh school gr. 11 and gr.12 marks with my first year marks from york. I believe straight from higb school the minimum requirement is 85% average in my top 6 gr 12 high school course.

Placement

Queens has a intern opportunity for 2nd year all the up to last year students. The internship is different than other universities, its 12-16 months work term and you have to have atleast 1 or 2 semester of study period after the work period as far as I believe

Events

Since it has only been online classes for me Its not very applicable for me

Faculty

My faculty teaching teams are very approachable and encourages us to go for help. Im not sure about the faculty to student ration. But for my courses, on average there was a TA(teacher's assistant) for every 30 students.

No, I live with my parents in Toronto 3 hours away from my campus. But the uni has very nice res which I visited last year. And there are student preference residence programs. That gives emphasis on renting places out to students. And those neighbourhoods are practically in the campus. Would be 15 minutes walk on average to get to the farthest edge of the university from those neighbourhoods.
