Co-op program at waterloo is internationally recognized as one of the best in the world, as it gives students real work experience during their studies, and also scholarships and bursaries they awarded me.
Course Curriculum
It is a good balance of science and social aspects of health/medicine and teaches many different viewpoints to look at the field of health. It also looks at different problems that can impact one's health, not only the biological aspects.
Fees
You pay for tuition/fees per semester (4 months), which for local Canadian students is about $5000 per semester, not including residence/meal plan in the first year).
Examination Structure
Mainly multiple-choice exams in the first and second year due to the large classes and more science classes that have hundreds of students, but more written questions /short/long answers in the second-fourth year.
Faculty
Good as it has many different events that allow students to be social, get to know each other, and fun events like semi-formal, but it does not always focus on academics.
