Great program with a good facility and good reputation. U of T has a good reputation for being one of the most prestigious schools in Canada and has a wide range of programs to choose from. Additionally, it is very close to my house.
Course Curriculum
Good but you shouldn't have to take certain mandatory courses just to fulfill a degree when the mandatory courses are unrelated to your degree. For example, having to take a politics or philosophy course as a humanity credit.
Fees
$8000 tuition with $700 parking, $500 for textbooks, and other supplies. The problem is profs change textbooks often so it's hard to find used and new books at the bookstore that are overpriced while they pay u a minimum for buying the same book back next year from u when u sell back.
Examination Structure
Multiple choice, long and short answer questions. Sometimes true and false. Based on lectures and readings and some random things to throw You off such as things that were verbally mentioned but not on the slides etc.
Faculty
Helpful and accommodating for the most part. Many profs try to help you as much as they can while others bombard you with assignments and readings that are impossible to complete in given timeframes considering there is the same workload for 4 other classes as well.
