A Great campus with many research opportunities

8.0 /10

Good reviews, heard about the professors and student services. And they all actually are true. I am glad to be here!

Course Curriculum :

It is just amazing! Course outlines are clear, Course syllabus meets practical expectations. And yes, there are lots of research opportunities.

Exams :

My scores: International English Language Testing System IELTS 7.5 High School Diploma( Grade 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) 84.5%

Placement :

I am in Statistics and I wish to go in Data Analysis, then further Data Science. There are a lot of government opportunities. I cannot say about any salaries except what I see on google.

Internship :

I did not opt for any internships.

Fees :

$18,000-$30,000 per year ( depending on a load of courses ) Normally one 3 credit hour course is $14,00-$17,00 And for a three-year degree, we finish 90 credit hours For a four-year program, we finish 120 credit hours.

Scholarship :

Yes, I received The Manitoba Scholarship Initiative ($2000.00), Academic Proficiency Scholarship($800), and International Student Services Award(300).

Faculty :

The faculty and the staff are the best! They are approachable. I meet my professors a lot. They reply to emails promptly. All the professors have been great and helpful. Name of the professors: Sohail Khan ( Took a first-year statistics course, and switched my major to Stats ) Shakhawat Hossain ( Puts a lot of effort in making sure students get the best education possible) Ross Stokke ( Approachable and great teacher) Gyanendra Pokharel ( Great way of teaching )

Campus Life :

I love to be a part of extracurricular activities and this university has provided me with a lot of chances. There are various inclusive student groups and they host great events. There are numerous student services like accessibility, security, food bank, sports, and many more. Library services are good. The university holds presentations and orientations regularly educating students on how to benefit from these services.

Hostel :

We do have campus living, however I live off campus and thus I do not have a lot of knowledge about that.
