The University of Toronto is ranked number one in Canada. It is the leading research university. Moreover, it is one of the two Canadian universities that are part of the American Association of Colleges.

Course Curriculum

9

Overall, it has been very good. UofT has a very challenging curriculum. The lectures, labs, and practicals are all very good. Compared to my friends who go to other universities, we are learning much more.

Exams

I got into the University of Toronto with a grade twelve average of 80%. Ontario universities do not require any tests.

Internship

This is probably the absolute worst thing about the University of Toronto. There is no sort of co-op program or internship program. It makes finding a job much harder when you lack any relevant experience.

Fees

There are a lot of non-tuition fees such as the student union fees. But moving forward students will be able to opt out of these fees because of the provincial government.

Examination Structure

It varies for each course. Typical there will be a final exam. This can vary between thirty to as far as fifty percent of your final grade. Usually, exams have multiple choice, short answers, and essay-type questions.

Faculty

I have a pretty bad opinion of my faculty. Most of the professors are on temporary contracts and it really reflects the apathy for teaching. As well, some TAs is unhelpful.
