It is a beautiful and well-reputed as well as leading college of BC. I came to know about this College from a friend of mine. The admission process was also not so long and I got the offer letter very easily and quickly. The application fee was also not so high. I did my 12th in medical along with 80%marks.
Exams
I opted for this program because I have a great interest in the science and scientific field. The batch size of mine is 2 years diploma for this I need 60 credits from 20 subjects. I took the IELTS exam for getting the visa with the score of 6.5 overall. Two semesters of mine are done with the 33 credits.
Placement
There are almost 200 companies attached to the college in which more are the oil and gas as well as the mining companies such as the Brucejack mine Alaska. They look for a good percentile and then offer the jobs.
Internship
I am not sure about the internship program of the campus but I have seen some of the students who are doing the on-campus jobs of cleaning or in the library. The average wage of them is almost 14$ and they do need a little bit of experience for those jobs.
Fees
The fee structure is very high for international students. It is 1200 for each subject. 24000 $ for 4 semesters. I don't have much knowledge about the scholarships provided by the college. I haven't taken any study loan for my studies. The GiC program is very helpful for the students to manage their expenses.
Faculty
The Faculty is awesome. The way of their teaching is fantastic. There is a ratio of 1:40. The professors are more practical. The focus is on the laboratory portion. Their academic level is also PhDs. I love my professors.
Hostel
My residence is in the town as my job is near to my town. I think it works better due to the access to all the facilities in the town. It is a good market place. The meal are not including the utilities and the meals. The rent rates are700-800/ person.
