Close to home. This is what made my decision very easy. Since I am only 18 years old. I just wasn't ready to move away. Plus, I would like to save money, spend more time with my family and pets and not pay for food

Course Curriculum

8

Nice and specific, easy enough to handle as I am only 18 and I am still unsure of what I would like to do, whether I continue with my studies in another program or join the world in the workplace. I really like how there is a mix of mandatory and elective courses.

Placement

9

Good. However, many offices and other jobs require us to be bilingual, which I think makes things extra difficult. I feel that this may be too specific, as not everyone speaks French. I think there should be an equal opportunity for both French and English speaking people.

Internship

placement. I'm getting a good feeling testing the waters, to see if I am enjoying this line of work. The only critique is that our placement coordinator isn't very attentive to her email, which has made it difficult to understand as to how we are supposed to participate.

Events

5

Pi Day. There was a scavenger hunt and free pie for the participants. The teams with the highest scores from the scavenger hunt win prizes. This is a great way to get the school involved, especially when there is free pie.

Fees

One problem is that if you transfer credits from other schools that you have been to, you do not get a refund. You are still paying for the course. This is not right.

Scholarship

In high school, I received the Northern college entrance scholarship bursary. I received it ok my graduation day and cashed it in at the college student service office. Very easy and quick process.

Examination Structure

Good, everyone is in the gym with multiple professors watching. This is especially needed since there has been such an increase in international students.
