Lethbridge Community College - Community Colleges Aren't Always Bad

JW
8.8 /10

It is my local college and I heard good things about the program I wanted to take. It also fits best into the funding budget I had to work around. According to the career counselor that worked there, it also had the best career turnaround in comparison to most colleges.

Course Curriculum :

It needed a bit of improvement to be a bit more future proof, but since I have attended where I have heard they've improved it quite a bit. Some things like hands-on tasks were not really frequent but as time went on the professors knew some students needed that.

Fees :

Tuition, laptop fee, and books. You paid tuition for each year you and attended and a fee either buy or rent the laptop needed for most of the classes.

Examination Structure :

One flat out final exam and project. Nothing extra. Your final grade solely was based on how you did with your practicum, the final project, and the final exam. It was not very complex. Due to the small capacity of the program, there was not much that could be done in terms of exams.

Faculty :

They were very knowledgeable about everything and I enjoyed learning from them. Sometimes they had issues working with tutors because everyone had their own methods of teaching but it worked out eventually.
