The IVEY School of Business is an institution one of its kind which is committed to teaching the students through case study methodologies apart from the conventional methods of text book studies. In Academics. There are compulsory core subject papers as well as elective papers under the course curriculum. We needed to choose its elective papers wisely which would more be sustainable to our course specializations. For example, if one chooses MBA in Finance, he/she may choose supply chain Management/ Retail Management which is more viable for Finance. IVEY stands apart from other traditional business schools because of its imparting knowldge to the students through case study methodologies everyday in academics.

It's pretty updated and they always give relevant, current examples to relate and work with them.

Fees

Around 30,000 USD for international students for my program but this varies with course.

The curriculum of the course is highly detailed and interesting. We did not need research experience for the first year. However, in upcoming years, we will need to help and conduct more research which we will get the experience to do on campus

I am not international so I have no idea I took out OSAP loans which are not the best since they do not even come close to covering what I'd need them to. Many students this year had to drop out because of Doug Ford's restructuring of the loans. The 10 tuition cut was just moved to the other fees category of tuition therefore no actual tuition cut.

I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do in my life. Originally I wanted to be a dermatologist which would give me the freedom of any undergrad. I was originally accepted to all the universities I applied to for bio or biochem (as I loved bio). I got to thinking and knew bio was not a great degree to have if I didn't get into med school. A friend's relative is an actuary and the more she told me about it as well as when I took grade 12 calculus and fell in love with math I knew it was for me. Western was the only of the 4 schools I applied to where my major wasn't set in stone as well they offered me a 10,000 scholarship.

The course curriculum is fair, my program balances physical activity, science, and math throughout the 4-year program.

Fees

The yearly fee for my program is $14000, I've applied to OSAP to gain the half loan and half grant. Criteria is basically a family in need of financial assistance based on the yearly income of parents. This process is fairly simple yet somewhat unfair for some students whose parents are not assisting in college tuition and who make a substantial amount of money.

My opinion on the course curriculum is that it is brilliant.

Fees

For international applicants, there are sports, science, math, English, and many more scholarships available to them. The tuition fee for my program was $9822 I was happy about that because it fit in my budget. I was not awarded a scholarship as I did not apply for one at the time I was applying. I did not take any loans.

The course curriculum was okay, it definitely got better as the years progressed and I could specialize in courses in my own field, new courses are added yearly as well so that was nice. Nothing much else to say.

Fees

Tuition was made of up many fees that made student life possible and easier like public transportation.

Very interesting courses. I'm taking biochemistry and genetics, and I had to take organic chemistry as well as cell biology courses. Great opportunities to work in the laboratories on campus. However, my second-year genetics course is pretty hard compared to other courses.

Fees

The fee structure in the first year is around almost $20,000 which includes residence, food, and tuition. There are some hidden fees that students have to pay such as the science donation fee, as well as the yearly bus pass.

I appreciate how they structured all the courses so there is overlap between them all, leading students to believe that there is a connection between them. However, many upper-year engineers have informed me that all the theory taught in most classes is very irrelevant to the workforce we are entering. I understand why they see a need to teach it, however, I feel like less of an engineer and more of someone who knows a lot about calculus and physics but cannot truly apply it. Additionally, with the general first year comes the struggle of having to take numerous classes that don't interest you at all, which makes it even more of a dreadful experience.

Fees

My tuition for my program is almost double that of most students in other faculties. They tell us it's so they can offer us the best technological and engineering resources, but I think it's because we are on the only faculties that can fund a job right after undergrad, meaning we should pay for this luxury. The financial breakdown as far as tuition is very vague. About 13,600 goes to tuition. The remaining 1.4K is listed out to include the Health Plan, Dental Plan, Faculty Donation, and more than I honestly don't know.

My course curriculum is great. The school requires history students to take history courses based on different time periods and different parts of the world. The extra optional classes are great and the professors know what they're talking about.

Fees

The fees for the school vary by program. Social science majors typically have to pay around $8000 per year.

Students applying for admission in the master programs of Western University must have a minimum of 70% overall average in the last 2 full-time years of the undergraduate degree. Besides the GPA requirement there are certain program-specific requirements as well.
