I chose this university because of its faculties and reputation all over the globe. It's one of the high-ranking universities with great placement opportunities and many big companies like google, amazon, Microsoft, SAP visit the campus. Research opportunities and culture are great. The university also provides co-op opportunities after completing one year of the degree program which helps gain experience even while studying.

It's one of the best research universities in Canada and has a really diverse student body. The scholarship was also an added incentive, but the beautiful campus, and the engaging community within, had appealed to me already before I found out about the scholarship.
