The UNH Libraries on the Durham, Manchester and Concord campuses are an integral part of the educational and research activities of the students, faculty and staff of the University. Dimond Library on the Durham campus was expanded and renovated in 1998 and offers three grand reading rooms, seating for 1,200, computer workstations on every floor, 210 laptop connections throughout the building, 21 miles of shelving for books and other print materials, and a variety of other library services including remote access to electronic resources. Dimond Library also houses an extensive government documents collection, the Douglas and Helena Milne Special Collections and Archives and the University Museum.

The mission of the University of Vermont Libraries is to further the creation, application, and dissemination of knowledge by providing access to information resources and education in their use.
