City Life

Irving, Texas, is centrally situated between Dallas and Fort Worth, and it is home to more than 240,000 residents. The city’s rich diversity is exhibited by its population and the number of languages spoken by residents. Irving offers the world-class Irving Arts Center that hosts live theater, ballet and symphony performances, as well as national and local visual exhibits. Irving’s Campion Trail offers 13 miles of walkable, bikeable trail. Of Irving’s 67.9 square miles of land area, more than 23-square miles are dedicated to master-planned developments and districts. These well-designed developments include the Heritage Crossing District, Las Colinas, Valley Ranch and multiple retail centers. Irving has more than 100 shopping centers and more than 500 restaurants offering a variety of cuisines.


Laredo, Texas is a thriving border town with a unique culture that seamlessly blends Mexican and American influences. From the traditional music of the annual Folklorico Festival to the exciting atmosphere of the San Agustin Historical District, there is something for everyone in this vibrant city. Take a stroll down Zaragoza Street, take in some authentic Mexican food at one of many local restaurants, or check out any of the great museums. With its beautiful scenery and rich history, Laredo is an ideal place to explore and live! Once the classic Old West town, modern Laredo is now the largest and most active port of entry to the United States in the Rio Grande Valley. Numerous border-zone manufacturing plants have sprung up since the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) came about in the early 1990’s. The four border crossing bridges are busy with truck and container traffic to Nuevo Laredo in Mexico, and rail and air cargo carriers have extensive operations. The area is known for having a pro-business environment.
