Location Facts

Pace University campuses are located in New York City and Westchester County. The university's shuttle service provides transportation between the New York City and Pleasantville campuses. Furthermore, Pace University has a high school located just ten blocks away from the university's New York City Campus 


New York Institute of Technology's Old Westbury, New York, campus is seated on 1,050 acres. The New York City campus is located between 60th and 62nd streets on Broadway, adjacent to Columbus Circle. 


Library

The Pace University Library is comprised of the Birnbaum Library on the NYC campus, the Mortola Library in Pleasantville, and the Law School Library in White Plains, New York.

The library offers users a wide array of resources and services including access to over 120 research databases (from on or off campus,)  print and ebooks, resource sharing partnerships with local area libraries and consortia, and comprehensive interlibrary loan services for materials not owned by the Pace Library.


Library provides the students, faculty and staffs with various resources like e-books, journals, publications etc. Students can also access various databases and intralibrary loans through the library system.


Campus Life

Division of Student Affairs world endlessly to support the academic mission of students enrolled at Pace University. Here is how international students will get a holistic learning and living experience on campus -

  • Students can join more than 100 clubs and organisations on the Pace university campus. These groups are interactive, supporting a non-racial, all-inclusive university campus.  
  • The Office of Dean for Students plays a key role in ensuring the well-being of the academic community. They are involved in student development, residential living, campus activities and counselling services.  
  • The New York campus houses the famous Pace’s Robotics Lab, equipped with state-of-the-art Bloomberg technology-aided computers. 
  • The Westchester campus of Pace University houses the Goldstein Fitness Center, which includes a 2,400-seat arena, a 50-metre swimming pool, a running track and a gym.  

NYIT has few formal traditions, compared to many other universities, but has a rich culture of informal traditions and jargon. There are a few "big events" such as Commencement (graduation), but many smaller, decentralized activities sponsored by departments, labs, living groups, student activities, and ad hoc groups of NYIT community members united by common interests. The Office of Residence Life and Off-Campus Housing at New York Institute of Technology caters for students living in residence halls and independently in housing off-campus. NYIT has seven major dining halls across its campuses in New York State. The New York Tech (NYIT) athletic teams were called the Bears. The institute was a member of the NCAA Division II ranks, primarily competing in the East Coast Conference.  However, the bears are suspending in the competition since 2020.
