The university has campuses spread across different locations: City centre campus, City South Campus in Edgbaston, Victoria street in Birmhimgam, Margaret street, Bournville, 


The two campuses that contain Sheffield Hallam University are the Collegiate Campus on Ecclesall Road, which is close to the city centre and the City Campus, which is near the train and bus stations in Sheffield.


Library

The Learning Centre has a collection of more than 23,000 items containing relevant course books and materials. It has print subscriptions to more than 115 journal titles and electronic access to more than 1,000. It also holds DVDs, reference books, directories, encyclopaedias, tip sheets, advice relating to the final year project, 29 computers with internet access, and binding, printing and photocopying services.

Students can access electronic books, full-text electronic journals, newspaper articles, full-text British and international standards, market research reports, legal and bibliographic databases. Most of these can be accessed from both within the building and externally.


  • There are two campus libraries, Adsetts Library at City campus and Collegiate Library at Collegiate campus. The libraries are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There are over 2450 learning spaces to support your independent study, with quiet and silent areas for reading or individual study, and flexible collaborative rooms and spaces to work with course mates.
  • Access to over 2000 journals and 2000 books in Science, Technology and Medicine and Humanities and Social Sciences.

  • Database of over 650 film, television, radio and related documentation collections and artefacts in the United Kingdom and Ireland, designed by the British Universities Film and Video Council for use by researchers
