The very compact campus contains a wide range of twentieth century architecture, though the oldest building dates from 1837. The main campus is a mile south of the city centre, adjacent to Victoria Park and Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College.

It's a big library: more than 30,000 e-journals, 300,000 e-books and 800,000 print books, with over £7 million invested each year in additional resources and services. The Library is open 24 hours a day during term-time weekdays, expanding to full 24/7 opening in the run-up to exams.
