A short Happening journey - University of Freiburg

One of the best universities of Germany with a good research faculty in ML/AI. Also the robot learning lab of the university is one of the best labs in Europe.

Course Curriculum :

The curriculum is good and updated. There is a wide choices of courses which helps you personalize your study. Courses from the Computer science faculties are really good.

Exams :

Min req.: IELTS 7 My score: IELTS 7.5 GPA < 2.5 My GPA: 1.8 Good research background recommended.

Placement :

Most of the students who have passed out have been placed. The average salary is 3000-4000 euros per month. There are plenty of research opportunities here. You can get into different labs and work under professors helping with various projects.

Internship :

No, not yet.

Events :

The library and the research faculty is great. Regarding the clubs and other things I personally couldn't get a look on that because of the pandemic and restrictions. Otherwise, the faculty buildings, the infrastructure is great with all facilities. Wifi is all across the campus.

Fees :

6000 euros (1500 * 4)

Scholarship :

No, I didn't applied for any scholarship.

Faculty :

The faculty of embedded systems has a variety of students coming from different countries. The faculty as a whole has students from different backgrounds. There are many specializations that can be opted for during the study. Few courses are very good. The professors here are very good and have a good understanding.

Hostel :

I stay in a dormitory. Its a 4 sharing WG. Sharing dorms can be found easily from SWFR or IES Abroad. The average rent is 320 euros per month (warm).
