The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges. ... The examination, which offers 90,000 seats in MBBS and BDS Colleges of India, is conducted in the month of May every year. NEET is a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely 'National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses' in each academic year. AIPMT was conducted by CBSE for selection of candidates for admission to 15% seats under All India Quota. NEET cut off 2021 for general category is 50th percentile, while for reserved category candidates it is 40th percentile. The minimum NEET 2020 cutoff pass marks for the unreserved category was 720-147 and NEET cut off 2020 for SC/ST/OBC candidates was 146-113.
