In order to compete with the IIT graduates, it has built the appropriate infrastructure to enable it to produce qualified engineers. Teaching is supported by LCD/OH projectors in the classroom, as well as online learning materials that can be accessed via the e-library. After just three years, it has become a household name both within and outside of West Bengal. It was achieved despite the high degree of discipline, orderliness, dedication and commitment of the faculty.
