This programme will allow students to engage meaningfully in comparative legal research using mature comparative law methodology and develop flexibility, adaptability and independence in order to engage productively with a changing, social, cultural and international environment.
The LL.M. (International and Comparative Law) is delivered over one academic year. It seeks to promote critical analysis of, and reflection on, different aspects of international law and comparative law.? ? Students on this programme are examined in six modules and will also complete a research dissertation on a topic approved by the Dissertation Director and related to? some aspect of international and comparative law.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a 2:1 honors degree in Law or law related disciplines from an Irish University or an Equivalent University
- Should have academic competency and higher grades
- Academic transcripts of previous education
- Letters of recommendation
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum
- TOEFL: 88 minimum in IBT; 570 minimum in PBT; 230 minimum in CBT
- PTE: minimum 63 with no section below 59
- Duolingo: 110/160 overall
