The Course is aimed at primary care dental practitioners providing support for those patients with dental anxiety and undertaking dentistry in a safe, effective and anxiety free manner.
It also aims to provide a recognised education and training programme that will equip dentists with the knowledge, skills and experience to safely and independently use conscious sedation techniques in their own clinics.
The course leads to the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a dental degree from an Irish University or an Equivalent University
- Statement about why the candidate wants to pursue diploma
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 7 overall minimum
- TOEFL: 88 minimum in IBT; 570 minimum in PBT; 230 minimum in CBT
- PTE: minimum 63 with no section below 59
- Duolingo: 110/160 overall
