The University College Dublin offers an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) Agri-Environmental Sciences degree.
This specialist applied science degree will equip you for a career at the interface between production agriculture and environmental protection, to give you:

Many AES graduates follow career paths as environmental consultants. Others work in State agencies that require both agricultural and environmental management skills, including:

- Teagasc
- Environmental Protection Agency
- National Parks & Wildlife Service
- Local authorities
A high proportion of AES graduates go on to further studies at postgraduate level.
Professional Work Experience & International Study Opportunities
A five-month period of structured PWE takes place in third year. You can also elect to study abroad for one semester, at universities including:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Students require International A Level: At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C, or better, in the remaining subjects at GCSE; a total of six distinct subjects are required.
- International Baccalaureate: A1, A2, or B: 5 at Higher Level (4 at either level if presenting IB through English).
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL or PTE scores.
