Foresters employ the latest information and communication technology, such as geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, forest growth modelling and decision support systems to support good management and sustainable practice, and the course provides a good introduction to this technology. The?Forestry programme is offered at the?University College Dublin.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Students require International A Level: At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C, or better, in the remaining subjects at GCSE; a total of six distinct subjects are required.
- International Baccalaureate: A1, A2, or B: 5 at Higher Level (4 at either level if presenting IB through English).
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL or PTE scores.
