Students will develop their knowledge of different cultures, linguistics, and translation, and enhance your language skills in French, Chinese, German, Japanese and/or Spanish.
The programme offers an opportunity to study languages in combinations not available anywhere else in Ireland (e.g. Japanese and German; Chinese and French), giving students an even broader appeal to potential employers.
Apply and test students skills in the real world when they spend their Third Year* studying at one of the partner universities, experiencing the culture of another country, honing their oral language skills and undertaking a significant body of work in the local language.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience another society at first hand.
After students complete the year abroad, they will return to DCU for their final year.

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL or PTE scores.
Academic Eligibility:
Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with minimum 3.0GPA.
