This course will follow the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) innovative education framework so that you will get first hand practical experience and can solve real problems.The modules during the first year are common to Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Design & Manufacture Engineering. Design and Manufacture at the University of Limerick is an honours degree programme accredited by Engineers Ireland, and the qualifications of graduates are recognised world-wide through international accords. Graduates achieving a suitable level of experience can register for the award of Chartered Engineer.
