- The Master of Engineering Studies (Packaging Technology) will provide students with a high-quality education in engineering within the New Zealand context.
- It has a particular emphasis on the application of that knowledge to real-world industrial problems.

This degree will give students the following skills and knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles of engineering.
- An advanced ability to apply principles to new complex, real-world industrial engineering problems.
- A systems approach to the design, development, and management of engineering systems.
- The ability to work in a team environment to solve problems at a variety of conceptual levels.
- The knowledge and ability to become a project leader or system designer in companies of any size.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
To enter the Master of Engineering Studies students will have been awarded or qualified for:
- a relevant four-year bachelor’s degree with honours or equivalent
- Or, a relevant three-year bachelor’s degree plus an honours degree, or equivalent
- Or, a relevant postgraduate diploma or equivalent.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE to get admission to this program.
