Goa government proposes full-fledged conduct of regular classes for Class X and XII students in schools after October 2.
As per CM, Pramod Sawant, several rounds of meetings and discussion between the Goa government and heads of educational institutes will be conducted before confirming by October 2, 2020.

Guidelines for the safe conduct of schools are likely to be released before 2 October 2020. Chief Minister also held a meeting with officers and stakeholders related to school education and National Education Policy 2020, Thursday, September 17.

CM DR. Pramod Sawant discussed the implementation of New Education Policy,2021 in Goa. The CM beseeched to the stakeholders and delegates to study the New Education Policy and give their valuable suggestions to the state task force committees.

“Every teacher, headmaster and PTA member should study the policy and give their valuable inputs to the task force committees,” he said.
The CM said in the virtual meeting “Decision regarding reopening of schools, especially Class X and XII will be taken only after October 2 in consultation with experts and considering the pandemic situation. Internet connectivity is still an issue for students in villages, the government will address this as soon as possible.”
Following the guidelines mentioned in Unlock 4, Students of Class X and XII can now go to schools and to seek guidance from their teachers on behalf of written approval of their parents.
Earlier, NCERT conducted a survey to understand online learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic. NCERT’s latest survey informed that it has prepared “Alternative Academic Calendar” and 'Students' Learning Enhancement Guidelines' with a focus on learning outcome" to bridge the gaps of learning among students.
