New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) is to conduct a talk on ‘Publishing in and Collaboration for Top Journal Manuscripts’ on March 4, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. (IST).
As per the official statement released by IIM Bangalore, Catherine Tucker, Professor of Marketing at MIT Sloan and Senior Editor of Marketing Science, will discuss her experiences on publishing and collaborating for top journals, followed by an Q and A session.
As the note by IIM Bangalore says, Professor Tucker’s research interests reside in technology’s impact on digital data and machine learning to improve performance and the challenges around it. She has years of expertise in online advertising, digital health, social media and electronic privacy. Some of the key fields of her research are the interface between marketing, the economics of technology and law.

She is the recipient of NSF CAREER Award for her outstanding work on digital privacy, the Erin Anderson Award for an Emerging Female Marketing Scholar and Mentor, the Garfield Economic Impact Award for her contribution to electronic medical records. Moreover, she has also received the Paul E. Green Award for contributions to Marketing Research, the William F. O’Dell Award for most significant and long-term contribution to Marketing as well as the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science Long Term Impact Award for long-time contribution to marketing.
Professor Tucker possesses a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and a BA from the University of Oxford.
