Language Labs To Be Set Up At Polytechnics In 10 Districts by UP Government

Uttar Pradesh Government to launch language labs at polytechnics in 10 districts at a cost of INR 1.75 Crore.

The language labs are to be set up to enable the students to strengthen their communication skills, the Chief Minister's office stated.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's office tweet, the following polytechnics are to be benefitted by this move of the Uttar Pradesh Government,

  • Government Polytechnic, Etawah
  • Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Amethi
  • Savitribai Phule Government Polytechnic, Azamgarh
  • MMITs (Mahamaya Polytechnic for Information Technology) of Kanpur Dehat, Kaushmabi, Shravasti, Kushinagar, Sant Kabirnagar and Kasganj

The Uttar Pradesh government issued a statement which stated that this move will help the students in getting jobs.

The statement said, "It has been seen that owing to weak communication skills, students did not feel confident and this lab will benefit them."
