Maharashtra Municipal Teachers Introduces Free Digital Online Mobile Education Library; Check Details Here

Mumbai Municipal Private Urdu Teachers have introduced a digital mobile education library for students who face difficulties in learning through online classes. 

The Education Library was launched with a view to help the students belonging to the economically weaker section of the society, as they don't have the facility of smartphones to access the online mode of teaching.

This digital library has been introduced in the area of Imamwada, Mumbai, and it can be accessed by the students of class 1 to 10, who don't have the facility to buy a smartphone are now appearing for the online classes via the ‘Free Digital Online Mobile Education Library’. 

Surprisingly, many of the students from the area have enrolled to attend the online classes.

According to the reports, Shahina Sayed, the Centre in-charge said that they initiated the idea of launching the free mobile library class to the students who couldn't buy a smartphone or they have only one smartphone in their family. 

Further, the online classes are being held from 8 am to 3 pm, by following all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the government, she added.

As of now, there are 10 smartphones with access to wifi which are being used by the students. 

A student who attends the classes said that earlier she was deprived of the online education, as there was only one smartphone in her house, but now she's able to attend the online classes regularly by visiting the centre.

Another student expressed gratitude towards the union for initiating this digital centre that is helping her to attend all the online classes. 

According to the Centre of Incharge, two branches of the digital mobile library will be launched soon in the areas of Bandra and Sakinaka in Mumbai.
