NBE FMGE December Session 2020: Registration to be Started Today

The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the information brochure of Foreign Medical Graduate Exam(FMGE) on October 7, 2020.

Candidates can apply for FMGE 2020 session from October 8, 2020, on the official website of NBE.

The exam is conducted 2 times every year i.e. in the month of June and December. FMGE screening examination is conducted for citizens of India who have a qualification degree from a foreign university.

The centres that have been added according to the information brochure released by the NBA are Bikaner, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Imphal, Delhi NCR, Gangtok, Kannur, Kohima, Raipur, Srinagar and Vellore.

This screening exam will be conducted on December 4, 2020 which will provide a permanent registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) to practice medicine in India.

Changes Made in Information Brochure

As per the information brochure released by the NBA, there are four centers which have been removed from the list of FMGE exam centers are given below

• Faridabad
• Ghaziabad
• Gurugram and
• Noida

FMGE December 2020 session: How to fill Application Form

Candidates who wish to fill the application form can follow the steps given below.

1. Candidates have to visit the official website.
2. Candidates have to register themselves by entering the required details.
3. After registration, candidates will be provided a login id and password on their registered email id.
4. The candidate needs to log in and start filling the application form.
5. Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Make the payment and download the application form in pdf format for future references.

FMGE Documents Required to fill the Application Form

Here is a list of all the documents required for filling FMGE Application form:

1. Copy of Passport
2. Copy of MBBS pass certificate by Indian Embassy
3. Copy of 12th passing certificate
4. Copy of birth certificate
5. Copy of internship certificate.
6. Copy of 12 mark sheet
7. Recent Photograph
8. Copy of address proof
9. Copy of eligibility certificate issued by MCI.
10.  Equivalence Certificate from the association of Indian University.

FMGE 2020 December Session: What After Application Form?

Candidates have to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates who have filled the application form will appear for the screening examination after the release of the admit card on November 27, 2020. 

The result will be declared on December 20, 2020 on the official website of NBE.
