The NSIT placements statistics are decent but yet not at or with DTU and IIIT Delhi. Although a large number of companies visit the campus for placements, the average and median CTC is quite low. It is still considered the best option for CS/Circuit branches but the batch size has been increasing alarmingly so the quality might be compromised.

IIIT Hyderabad MTech placements are decent but obviously not as good as BTech placements. The main reason is that UG students get to spend more time in IIIT than MTech students. So if you are an MTech student, you need to prepare well in your summer holidays and the 3rd semester to perform well in placements.
In IIIT Hyderabad M.Tech Placements 2022, the placement percentage stood at 94. The highest salary stood at INR 65 LPA while the average salary was recorded at INR 31 LPA. The lowest salary offered was INR 5 LPA.

Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) is one of the best engineering colleges among all the affiliated colleges with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The courses have NAAC and NBA accreditation and are AICTE approved. It is also recognized among the national engineering institutes with 154th NIRF Ranking for Engineering 2020.
The institute witnessed a 100% placement record during the last few years. Most of the students have bagged packages from more than one company. The CSE, ECE, and IT branches have an edge over the other branches in the institute.

Usually, grabbing the package in a broader bracket is a cumbersome task. Overall, HIT is the best among all the colleges of any other WBUT.
BITS Pilani recently concluded its placement drive for this year and the average package stood at INR 30.37 LPA whereas the highest package stood at INR 60.75 LPA.
The Institute does not release branch-wise packages and thus I consulted a friend who was a part of the BITS Pilani placement drive 2021. As per the information obtained from her, around 80% of the students of the mechanical branch got placed. The average salary package offered was 13 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 40 LPA by Daikin for the mechanical course. Decent roles were offered to students of this branch.

BITS Pilani Placements 2023 welcomed 109 recruiters some of them being Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, Adobe, Cisco, etc.
The placement opportunities are good enough for B.Tech IT students at CUSAT. The main requirement is a good CGPA in all first 6 semesters of the degree, a good coding knowledge, and soft skills like communication.
You can acquire soft skills by participating in extracurricular activities during your degree. Infosys, Oracle, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS Digital, Nissan Digital, Envestnet, Unisys and IBM are some of the companies that recruit IT students from the CUSAT campus.
IIIT Ranchi is a fairly new institute. It had the first placement drive in 2020. Since it is under the supervision of NIT Jamshedpur, the placements have been quite good. Also, it is a PPP mode type institute. Three companies are associated with the institute, i.e. TataMotors, TCS, and CCL.

The placement scenario at NIT Raipur is great for CSE/Circuit branches and average for all the other branches. NIT Raipur Placements 2022 wrapped up with 738 offers. The average package stood at INR 10.1 LPA while the maximum offers were received by the IT & Mechanical students. In all, 101 recruiters participated in the placements some of them being Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Adobe, Aditya Birla Group etc.

Some of my friends are from IET Lucknow. According to them, the placements of the CSE and IT branches are really good. Almost all the students get placed. The placement percentage shall be around 80-90% in both CSE and IT departments.
The salary packages offered to the students may vary from company to company. Or a student’s overall performance could also determine the job role and the salary package offered.
Generally, out of 60 students in a batch, 7 to 8 students are placed with a package of more than INR 5-6 LPA.
