Hansraj College is more than just a brand name in India for the best education. It is a universe in itself, that includes study, fun, societies, excursions, and top-notch faculties.
Being located in the North campus, Hansraj College is the dream college of every student. The infrastructure facilities are amazing and the cafeteria is one of the best in DU.
Here is some information regarding the JMC and Hansraj Maths department based on the experience of my friends from both institutes.
JMC:
Hansraj:
Go through the above-mentioned points and choose the institute that suits your requirements.
No, if you mean hiring through on-campus placements. Google does not search for profiles at Hansraj College. You can still apply through off-campus placements.
If you are searching for a technical position, you should be aware that Google no longer visits campuses (with the exception of IIT-B and IIT-D) for placements in such positions. There is an extensive off-campus employment procedure that begins with applying for an internship at Google. You can apply regardless of where you graduated.
Kirorimal College and Hansraj College cannot be compared. Both colleges are the best in their respective fields. Only by the department can we make comparisons. Because some subjects have a low cut-off in KMC but a high cut-off in Hansraj, and vice versa. However, in the same week, Hansraj has two days off (Saturday and Sunday) and the same KMC has one day off (Sunday).
In terms of college campuses, KMC has a larger campus than Hansraj college. Both colleges have a fantastic infrastructure. Both have a library, a canteen, a lawn, a seminar room, and a hostel.
The cutoff percentage is different for different courses. It also depends on various parameters. Some of these parameters are your college, course, category, etc. The cutoff changes every year too.
Following is Hansraj Cut off 2021 for a few reputed courses.

In order to get detailed information regarding the required cutoff for Hansraj, go through the previous year’s cutoff list on the DU website.
One of my friends studied at Hansraj College, therefore I am quite familiar with it. Let me share his orientation at the college.
Make sure you attend the orientation. It's a great step towards interacting with people. You will get to know about your college history, facilities, societies, leisure joints, etc. Also, you will not have any difficulty in finding the room for your classes the next day since you will already be familiar with the building.
The college offers all the basic amenities and decent infrastructure facilities. It includes a central library, sports complex, auditorium, hostel, laboratories, and computer centre. However, it does not offer any hostel facilities for female students.
You have to hunt for accommodation in PGs and hostels in the nearby area. One of the best options is Stanza Living. It is near to the college. One of my friends stayed there for a year, and she found it satisfactory. The facilities include the following.
Apart from the above, the other options for its residents include festival celebrations, movie screenings, lectures, and more. Overall, it will be a great experience.
