Does Maharaja Surajmal Institute for BBA have any extracurricular or cultural events and societies?

Yes, Maharaja Surajmal Institute has extracurricular, cultural events, and societies but they are just for the sake of it. The two events that are held every year in January are Avensis and Genesis.

• Avensis is an intra-college event and participation of students from other colleges is not allowed. Genesis, on the other hand, is hosted by MSIT. Here, students from other colleges are allowed to participate but they don’t seem to be interested.
• About the societies, there is Sifar – the Dance and Theatre society and The Fashion society. They are the only two societies that are active. Another cell, the Finance Cell, and the Entrepreneurship Cell were formed but they are not as functional as they should be.
• The Debating society hosts a debate competition every year in either of the two cultural events.

There is no Placement Cell for the MSI students. In the domain of sports, they have a football team and they practice twice a week. Apart from this, they have a volleyball court and a table tennis room.
