Which is better NIT Kurukshetra CS or MNNIT Allahabad IT?

A few of my friends graduated from NIT Kurukshetra and MNNIT Allahabad. According to them, MNNIT is a better institution. Here’s presenting some facts as to why they prefer MNNIT over NIT KKR.

• In NIT Kurukshetra the cut-off can go as high as 5000, and in MNNIT the cut-off goes around 3000. The lower the cutoff means better college.
• CSE equals IT at MNNIT. The courses are 80% similar, same depth, same professors, and the same placements.
• MNNIT is the 4th best NIT, while NIT Kurukshetra is the 9th best NIT.
• Placements at NIT Kurukshetra are good but not as good when compared to MNNIT.

It is suggested you go for IT at MNNIT but if you live near Kurukshetra you can go for NIT KKR. Check all the parameters before you finalize your option.
