NITIE is the best option for Civil Engineering students who want to acquire managerial knowledge.

Their PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering offers a unique blend of Engineering and Management studies.
Compared to IITs, NITIE is more of a managerial college. Academics at IITs is more research-oriented.
It has many centers like the Center for Technology and Innovation Management, The Center for Environmental Studies, the Center for Supply Chain Management, etc. You can do various projects there and learn more in detail about real-life techno-managerial issues.
It offers better placement than M.Tech from IITs. For the batch of 2022, the average and highest CTC offered at NITIE were INR 25.41 LPA and INR 49 LPA.

Studied PGDIE at National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2019)

According to some of my friends studying at NITIE, it is a very good college to study civil engineering. If you are having good technical knowledge and want to learn managerial skills, it is the right place for you.

The course of PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering is very unique.
It has a balance of both engineering and management.
NITIE is a management college, unlike IITs which is more focused on research work.
This college has various centers like Centre for Technology and Innovation Management, the Centre for Supply Chain Management, the Centre for Environment Studies etc.
These centers are used by the students for doing their projects and also learning new things.
The placement scenario of this college is outstanding and is even better than the M.Tech courses of IITs except for CS and EC branches.

The top 50% of the batch have received an average package of around 20.33 LPA. Hence, the placement scenario of this course is very good. There are several other benefits of this course such as better infrastructure, faculty, ROI, etc.
