Is MDU Rohtak a state university or central?

MDU Rohtak is an excellent state university in Rohtak, Haryana, India. It is recognized as an ‘A’ grade university by NAAC. 

• Earlier IIM Rohtak was within the campus of MDU but has been shifted to another place quite recently. 
• The university offers tremendous courses in various fields of study at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. 
• Apart from offering such advanced courses in the collegiate university it also provides programs through colleges, centers and institutes throughout the region.

The infrastructure of this institute is considered as one of the best in India. The library is enormous with new and updated books and 24x7 reading facilities. The faculty is decent but has the scope of improving.
