AIIMS Nagpur has made tremendous strides in the last few years. It has started academic services, day-care department, and outpatient department. Compared to other AIIMS, the faculty-student ratio for AIIMS Nagpur is less. So, every student gets the required attention. Being centrally funded, it has excellent facilities. The laboratories, library, and hospital are well-equipped with latest technology and equipment. You will certainly get good facilities and academics in AIIMS Nagpur.

Yes, in the last two years, AIIMS Nagpur has achieved a lot. It has started its academic services, outpatient department (OPD), day-care services and is set to start its inpatient department.

Here are some things AIIMS offers to the students:

A multi-storied OPD. They have services for general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopaedics, dermatology, psychiatry and dentistry.
There is an average of 400-500 patients per day.
The OPD complex also has a pharmacy where medicines are dispensed at affordable prices.
Day care services and basic minor OT procedures also started.
Subspecialty Clinics, Department of obstetrics and gynaecology, High risk pregnancy unit, Reproductive health services, Gynaecological oncology, Department of paediatrics, Pulmonology and asthma clinic, Paediatric neurology, Developmental paediatrics and many more are also available.
It started its PG courses and has got 16 PG seats - 2 each for anatomy, biochemistry, community medicine, forensic medicine and toxicology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology and physiology subjects.
Counselling for admissions for these 16 seats has taken place in AIIMS New Delhi.
